Description

This is the histopathological image of THYMUS tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: In chest CT scans , a tumor with, in the anterior mediastinum with left lateralization, 8cm in greatest dimension. The change was accidentally detected in control tests after pulmonary embolism. No symptoms of myasthenia gravis.
