Description

This is the histopathological image of SMALL INTESTINE tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: In the specimens of the macroscopically described tumor in the Bauhin's valve area, weaving of a poorly differentiated tubular adenocarcinoma was found. The infiltration covers the distal wall of the ileum and the wall of the cecum.
