Description

This is the histopathological image of VULVA tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Clinical description: 1,8 x 0,6 x 0,2 cm polypoid lesion of skin of vulva.

Result of the histopathological examination: Vulvar intraepithelial neoplasia- VIN III. Incomplete excision, p16+ (diffuse, nuclear and cytoplasmic p16 staining involving the majority of epithelium), Ki-67 positive nuclear reaction in 4/5 of epithelium.
