The AGRARSENSE (Horyzont Europa) project will focus on contemporary agricultural challenges. Which include both economic factors such as the need to increase productivity and cost efficiency. The decreasing number of people working in EU agriculture and the factors of sustainable development within the EU (Green Deal) have a key impact on reducing economic costs or interruptions in the supply of agricultural products. The activities will allow for the rapid detection and accurate identification of pathogens and other factors affecting plant and animal health. For this purpose, as part of the AGRARSENSE project, dedicated devices and systems in the field of microelectronics, photonics, cyber-physical systems and devices, embedded systems will be developed. Including energy-efficient and reliable wireless communication, as well as autonomous systems, including agricultural equipment, greenhouse automation systems, drones and robots. PG will be responsible for development of new reconfigurable antennas and its integration within the base station that will be done in collaboration with international partners. Expected outcomes include new high IF publications, know-how that will potentially be sold via licenses to commercial partners and new international collaboration.
