The 18th edition of the ISSW is organized by the local organizing committee from Gdansk University of Technology. All the presentations will be presented at the plenary session, and the chairpersons of individual thematic sessions will take care of the substantive level, inviting the most significant speakers from around the world.
The ISSW 2022 conference has received the patronage of the President of the Gdansk University of Technology. The financial support requested by the organizing committee is aimed at building an excellent image of our university in the consciousness of the international community of those involved in ship stability. Since 1986, ISSW and STAB have not been present in Poland as a venue for such an important event in the field of stability. This year's edition of ISSW changes this situation, sinking into the memory of the participants for years to come.
Tasks related to the International Ship Stability Workshop organization will be executed by the local organizing committee from Gdansk University of Technology. They consist of renting a convenient conference room, ensuring the Internet connection, providing the relevant service of technicians, printing the Proceedings of the workshop, organization of the STAB International Standing Committee meeting and STAB R&D Committee meeting, organization of the social program. However, this application is intended to request the financial support for a part of those tasks, i.e. spendings on the conference room, technician service including the Internet connection and the Proceedings publication. The remaining costs, including lunches, dinners, coffee brakes and any social program, will be covered from other resources.
