The project concerns the translation into Polish, critical study, editing, preparation for printing and publication of the so-called 4th volume of Ernst Cassirer's "Philosophy of Symbolic Forms" entitled. "Zur Metaphysik der symbolischen Formen". This treatise is one of the most important works of philosophy of the 20th century.
The project is intended to be a continuation of the research on German philosophy that has been carried out at the Gdansk University of Technology for years. It will certainly have an impact on solidifying the position of our university as a dynamic research center in this field.
