Możliwa jest taka modyfikacja składu kompozycji impregnacyjnych, która w znaczny sposób zwiększy migrację w strukturę podłoża. Możliwe jest zwiększenie cech takich jak: wytrzymałość betonu na ściskanie, wytrzymałość na zginanie, wzrost mrozoodporności, zmniejszenie nasiąkliwości, zmniejszenie ścieralności.
