Ahmed Abbas received his B.Sc. degree in electrical engineering from Kordofan University, Sudan, in 2014, and his M.Tech. degree in power electronics & drives from the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Warangal, India, in 2018.  He served as a research assistant with the department of electrical engineering, Qatar University. Currently, he is pursuing his Ph.D. from the Gdansk University of Technology.  His research interests include multi-level inverters, open-end winding induction motor drives, and analytical model of electrical machines.
