Biography

Anna Rzeczycka is the deputy head of the Department of Finance at the Faculty of Economics and Management of the Gdańsk University of Technology. Publications are situated in the field of social sciences in the discipline of economics and finance. They include books, monographs, articles, publications and scientific editions of monographs and scientific journals. In terms of numbers, it includes the following items: 12 monographs and textbooks, 115 publications in scientific journals, 42 publications in peer-reviewed collective publications, 8 editorial offices of monographs and textbooks, and 32 chapters in monographs. The achievements, presented at 26 national and international scientific conferences, cover the following scientific areas, such as corporate finance management and banking. Examples of author's or co-author's studies are: Enterprise finance management, Investments in derivatives on the Warsaw Stock Exchange, Finance in a tourist enterprise, Factoring as a tool for enterprise liquidity management, Franchising in shaping business activity in Poland against the background of selected countries around the world, Venture capital in financing high-risk projects, Transformation of banking systems in selected Baltic countries, Financial awareness of students of the Gdańsk University of Technology, Liquidity in the company's operations. Anna Rzeczycka is the supervisor of seven completed doctoral theses, such as: The length of the financial and financial cycle and the efficiency of the company's operation on the example of the automotive industry, Debt collection as a factor limiting banking risk, Systemic liquidity risk in the Polish banking system - determinants and trends, Alternative investments - profitability and risk, Determinants of enterprise value in selected sectors of the economy in Poland, Expansion of banking services on the example of the development of Islamic banking in Europe, Enterprise environment as a determinant of the value of financial liquidity.
