The OpenRisk-2 project focuses on the development of a software platform for Baltic Sea maritime authorities that can provide useful information for risk analysis and management at national and regional levels. The developed platform can support decisions on allocation of resources related to oil spill response or updating operational procedures. The OpenRisk-2 based software platform will be used to perform each step of the ISO 31000:2018 risk assessment process using state-of-the-art risk assessment tools. It will also be publicly available to interested maritime authorities and HELCOM response authorities. From a spatial perspective, the project will focus on the Baltic Sea Region.
