Abstract
Module architecture today is a special type of building construction process that combines repetitive design, low-cost production based on prefabricated elements and fast erection. Module does not mean the same as modular. In general, module architecture today refers to the design of any system composed of separate components, manufactured before in factory, that can be connected together at the building site much faster than normally. Module architecture, that is, the architecture based on using a repetitive constructional and three-dimensional unit in order to minimize the cost of the project, production and transport, at its beginnings was tightly associated with an idea to use a container module used for sea transport.
