Abstract
Accuracy of assessment of human body exposure to magnetic fields is affected by several uncertainty sources. One of them is estimation of the total exposure to non-sinusoidal fields. Standard methods can be implemented using analogue or digital filters that introduce a phase shift that affect the result of total exposure level estimation. The paper presents a new method that allows performing more precise assessment of exposure to non-sinusoidal low frequency magnetic fields. The method allows to reduce the filter phase shift that occurs in the standard methods.
