Iwona Kochańska is a graduate of Faculty of Electronics, Telecommunications and Informatics, Gdansk University of Technology. She received M.Sc. degree in Automation Control and Robotics, specializing in the mobile objects control. In 2012 she received Ph.D. degree in hydroacoustics.
