About

Jakub Chabik graduated in Computing from Wrocław University of Technology as well as from MBA studies at Poznan University of Economics / Georgia State University Atlanta. He has a doctoral degree in management.

Professional career

For almost 30 years he's been working in international companies, taking positions in technology and management in IT. In the past he led the structural and cultural change in the bank during its rapid growth and merger of two financial institutions.

Currently he works in an international IT company, managing multi-million dollar projects in technology, healthcare, finance and pharma. He is an expert in delivery management - ensuring the timely delivery of business value all across the value stream (from requirements, through development, testing, deployment and maintenance). He manages global teams, spanning from Hong Kong, through Central Asia, Eastern Europie, Western Europe towards United States and Latin America. He is a practitioner and true enthusiast of working globally.

Other activities

Jakub is an active member of Polish e-government community, cooperating with the country's digitization officals as well as associations of local governments focued on IT. He holds certificates in CMMI, ITIL and SAFe.

Jakub is an active and regular "Wiedza i Życie" monthly and "Trójmiasto.pl" portal. In the past he collaborated with "Computerworld" weekly, "Harvard Business Review" and "Krytyka Polityczna" publishing house and portals. He is an author of number of scientific and popular science publications in those areas.
