JOANNA  GÓRECKA  was born in  Szczecin, Poland, in 1980. She received the M.Sc. degree in electronic engineering and the  Ph.D.  degree from the West Pomeranian University of Technology Szczecin, Poland, in 2005 and 2011, respectively. Since 2011, she has been employed in the Department of Electrical Engineering, West Pomeranian University of Technology, where she is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Systems,  Signals and Electronics Engineering. Since 2011, she is also cooperating with the Department of Neurosurgery and Pediatric Neurosurgery, Pomeranian Medical University in Szczecin, Poland as an EEG/EP technician. Her research interests concentrate on brain signals.
