Typowanie epidemiologiczne bakterii jest rutynową procedurą stosowaną w badaniach zakażeń szpitalnych i wymaga stosowania odpowiednich metod o wysokim potencjale różnicującym. Przedstawiliśmy możliwości nowej techniki PCR MP w różnicowaniu szczepów E. coli. Rezultaty zostały porównane z wynikami uzyskanymi metodą PFGE.
