District development concept – Gdańsk-Lower City (Dolne Miasto) district case study, study proposal no 2, May 2021

The data presents results of work within the studies of the concept of development of the district in the context of the city, Gdańsk-Lower  City (Dolne Miasto) district, study proposal no 2, from May 2021. The goal of the research process was to present the development concept of the area located in Gdańsk-Lower City (Dolne Miasto) district in the context of the city of Gdańsk development. The aim of the study was to present the main concept for the development of the chosen area and taking in consideration development of the entire city. The dataset presents the development concept of the district in the form of the main concept plan for the development of the district, design project axonometry, sections, functional diagrams, idea explanation and model. The dataset presents the study and design work of students of the Faculty of Architecture, Gdańsk University of Technology (FA Gdańsk Tech) - 6th semester of the Bachelor Studies (undergraduate studies) at the FA Gdańsk Tech coordinated by  Łukasz Bugalski PhD. The preparatory process, studies and design was conducted from April 2021 till May 2021. The study and design results in the dataset are the effect of the course of urban planning IV at the Faculty of Architecture, Gdańsk University of Technology 2020/2021 academic year. The study and design results in dataset form the basis for the further research and development studies of the district.
