Description

The measurement data was obtained during research aimed at utilizing LiDAR observations to assess changes occurring in the shoreline of Lake Lednica. The collected information comes from a spatial survey conducted using a scanner mounted on an unmanned aerial vehicle (ALS, in the IR channel). This advanced measurement system allows for precise registration of the area of Lake Lednica and its surrounding areas.

The survey encompasses not only the shoreline of Lake Lednica itself but also the surrounding areas, enabling a comprehensive assessment of changes occurring in this area. The acquired point cloud constitutes an integral set of data regarding the surveyed terrain. This enables not only the evaluation of the course of Lake Lednica's shoreline but also an analysis of the surrounding areas and any potential changes that may affect the lake and its surroundings.

The utilization of LiDAR data in assessing changes in the shoreline of Lake Lednica contributes to a better understanding of morphological processes and allows for effective planning of actions aimed at protecting this valuable ecosystem. Regular monitoring of the shoreline's condition allows for sustainable management of this area and minimizes the negative impacts of human activities on the aquatic environment.
