Description

This is the histopathological image of SKIN tissue sample obtained in Medical University Gdańsk and deposited in ZMDL-GUMED. The sample image was taken using: Pannoramic 250 3DHistech slide scanner (20x magnification) and saved to DICOM format.

Result of the histopathological examination: Neurocristic hamartoma of the scalp. The lesion shows a neural differentiation (picture as in neurofibroma), with abundant blood vessels in the stroma and isolated nodules with melanocytic cells (HMB 45 (+), S-100 (+), CD 34 (-)). In the epidermis, there is also a component stimulated by marginal cognition. The weaving of the neurofibroma extensively reaches the operating surface. In the IHC study, ki 67 <1% of the
