New 2D MXenes catalysts for syngas generation via dry reforming of methane

The aim of the project is to develop new nickel catalysts supported on metal carbides of vanadium and molybdenum with a 2D structure for dry methane reforming. As part of the project, the synthesis of new nickel catalysts and transition metal carbides with a nano-sheet structure will be carried out. The physicochemical properties of the catalysts as well as their activity and stability in the process of dry methane reforming will be examined. The obtained experimental data will allow to correlate the properties of the obtained catalysts with the reaction mechanism of dry methane reforming. The obtained results will be published in reputable journals from the JCR list and presented at international conferences.
