Novel quantum and quasi-low dimensional oxide materials

The project goal is to synthetize and explore the properties of new oxide materials showing electron and magnetic correlations. It will be realized in collaboration with Crismat Laboratory in Caen in France, and the French team will be coordinated by Alain Pautrat. The experimental worl will be focused on material synthesis, single crystal growth, examining their crystal structure, magnetic, theroelectric and transport properties. Formal collaboration with the group from Caen will allow for an efficient exchange of the experience brought to the project by both sides, which will result in obtaining scientiffic, publishable data. It also brings the perspective to extend the collaboration in the future and applying for grants in larger, international programs.
