This project aims to design a Joint Master's Degree program on Smart City Management, Governance, Innovation, and Sustainability (CAP4CITY+). CAP4CITY+ will be an innovative, integrated, transnational program that will provide future public leaders with relevant and advanced competencies, including digital services, digital technology, and disruptive technologies for the management and administration of Smart Sustainable Cities. The program will integrate the consortium's expertise on Smart Cities, addressing current topics in the fields of digital government, information systems, management, and urban studies, and building bridges between these fields. The program will target students from various disciplines who already hold bachelor's degrees in management, informatics, engineering, political science, business, law, or related fields. The program will consist of two streams: Sustainability and Innovation; and five topics: 1) city, technology, and governance (UWK), 2) digital transformation (GUT), 3) data science (UNS), 4) public sector innovation (UGR), and 5) management (PUCRS). Each university will deliver 30 ECTS per semester. The topic of the project is related to two research centers at Gdansk Tech - EcoTech Center and Digital Technologies Center, and to research and teaching conducted by the Department of Informatics in Management, Faculty of Management and Economics. The project is a direct follow-up of the completed project CAP4CITY - Strengthening Governance Capacity for Smart Sustainable Cities - conducted by some members of the consortium including GUT from 2019 to 2022.
