The project principal goal is creation and development of the theoretical concepts for the qualitative and quantitative reliability analysis of complex systems represented by Multi-State System (MSS) structure function that will be approbated for modern electrical low-voltage systems. It includes the realization of theoretical research and practical application of the new results:
1. Creation of a new methodology for the description of modern electrical low-voltage systems based on MSS’s principles. Originality of the new methodology lies in description of the system as MSS that allows to indicate the correlation between system components and changes of the system reliability from "perfect work" to "complete failure”.
2. Development of new methods for MSS importance analysis depending on its components’ state. The planned approach will be used for reliability analysis of modern electrical low-voltage systems.
3. Application of new methods of reliability analysis to evaluate safety of persons in modern electrical low-voltage systems. The novelty of the supposed results consists of: (a) development of new methodology for mathematical description and representation of complex technical system by MSS; (b) creation of a new mathematical approach for reliability analysis of the electrical safety systems.
