Biography
From February 2007 I'm working as a psychologist in Prison Service. I was working in almost all types of prisons with juvenile inmates, recidivist, “dangerous” inmates, women and first time offenders. I'm responsible for carrying out psychological consultations, testing, crisis intervention, suicide prevention. Other duties include promoting a healthy institutional environment to improve staff and inmate safety, delivering direct psychological service to inmates, conducting evaluations of the prison population, contributing to inmates management, and providing release evaluation and recommendations . As a mentor in Prison Service I'm responsible for education and training of newly appointed psychologist and prison staff in the Opole Lubelskie Correctional Facility. I also conduct training of all the prison staff on psychological aspect of imprisonment, interpersonal relation, conflict solving, suicide prevention. From 2011 I'm working with inmates conviced for domestic violence. I'm conducting educational-correctional programs. In 2014 I was delegeted to an internship visit in Norway for 3 weeks. I was working there as a full time prison officer in Halden Prison. Since 24 March 2016 I'm in charge of coordinating the skill sharing of Norwegian and Polish Prison Service Officers in the Regional Inspectorate of Prison Service in Lublin. From November 2017 till November 2019 I was a member of the Polish Language Didactics Lab in the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin working together with dr. hab. Magadaleną Marzec- Jóżwicką on the project “Difficult Topics in Education”. Since March 2021 I am assiociate at the APSychoLab. From September 2021 I am a PhD Student at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin.
