Kurs jest poświęcony analizie numerycznej, której zakres obejmuje tematyka jedno-semestralnego 30 godzinnego wykładu dla studentów V semestru matematyki (studia I stopnia) Wydziału Fizyki Technicznej i Matematyki Stosowanej Politechniki Gdańskiej. Wykład jest uzupełniany 15 godzinami ćwiczeń i 15 godzinami laboratorium.
