dr Aneta Sobiechowska-Ziegert

Biography

She works at the Department of Statistics and Econometrics at the Faculty of Management and Economics. She is passionate about using modern teaching methods in quantitative subjects. She is a certified coach and tutor. She teaches courses in economic forecasting and spatial econometrics. She is also the chair of the Faculty's Quality of Education Committee and oversees the EMOS education track, certified by Eurostat. Currently, she is coordinating the implementation of tutoring under the MEiN Masters of Didactics grant and implementing a grant obtained in the Competition of Didactic Innovations.

Her research interests include socio-economic analysis with a spatial aspect, primarily focusing on the liquid fuel market. She is also interested in short-term forecasting methods and analyzing megatrends and their impact on the economy and the environment. She is the author of many publications on modelling and forecasting prices.

  • The impact of economic factors on a selected phenomenon.

Consultation hours: Tuesday, 12:15-13:00 AM during the academic semester, Saturday 10:15-11:00 during part-time study meetings
