AnnaWitkowska holds an M.Sc. in mathematics and computer science from the University of Gdańsk, Poland in 2001. She received her Ph.D. degree from the Technical University of Warsaw in 2011, and the D.Sc. (habilitation) degree in automation, electronic and electrical engineering from the Technical University of Gdańsk, in 2020. Currently she is a professor of the Gdańsk University of Technology, Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering. Her research interests include automation, especially adaptive and robust control of nonlinear systems as ocean vehicles and control allocation methods in ship dynamic positioning systems.
