Polyolefins: from cradle to grave.
The course will consist of lectures followed by discussions. Using the obtained knowledge, students will be asked to work out a plan selecting catalysts, production process and recycling process for a specific type of polyolefin for a selected application.

The course will consist of lectures followed by discussions. Based on the gained knowledge the Students will be asked to prepare in teams a short essay how to economically produce a selected polyolefin and how to introduce the new product into the market.

Modyfikacja właściwosci tworzyw sztucznych przy pomocy środków pomocniczych. Struktura warstwy wierzchniej polimerów i metody modyfikowania warstwy wierzchniej. Trybologia polimerów.

Polimerowe modyfikatory materiałów budowlanych
Kurs ma na celu zapoznanie studentów z chemią i technologią polimerów, badaniami właściwości polimerów, zastosowaniem polimerów jako materiałów konstrukcyjnych w budownictwie, recyklingiem odpadów polimerowych z budownictwa. Prowadzący: dr hab. inż. Lidia Jasińska-Walc dr inż. Maciej Sienkiewicz

Kurs przeznaczony dla studentów V semestru kierunku Inżynieria Materiałowa specjalność Inżynieria Materiałów Polimerowych. Celem kursu jest pomoc w nabyciu umiejętności posługiwania się anglojęzycznymi artykułami naukowymi i opracowaniami technologicznymi z dziedziny inżynierii materiałowej polimerów oraz nauczenie prezentowania w języku angielskim założeń i wyników własnych prac.
