Biography
Dr. Maciej Fronczak received his scientific experience and education at the Faculty of Chemistry, University of Warsaw (Poland). He obtained his B.Sc. in 2012, M.Sc. in 2014, and Ph. D. in 2019. His research was focused on novel functional materials, applied in adsorption and catalysis. Since 2019 he has been an assistant professor at the Department of Molecular Engineering, Faculty of Process and Environmental Engineering, Lodz University of Technology (Poland). His experience involves two short-term postdoctoral internships at the Institute of Materials and Environmental Chemistry, Research Centre for Natural Sciences (Budapest, Hungary) in 2021 and the Institute of Chemistry, Technology and Metallurgy, University of Belgrade, in 2022 (Serbia). Currently, his activities cover the application of low-pressure, non-equilibrium, cold plasma in surface engineering and catalysis.
