Biography
Maciej Łuszczek born in 1967 in Gdynia. He received the M.Sc. degree in Applied Physics in 1991, the Ph.D. degree in 1999, and the D.Sc. (‘habilitation’) degree in 2015, all from the Gdańsk University of Technology. Since 1991 he has been with the above university, initially at the Faculty of Applied Physics and Mathematics, Department of Solid State Physics, and currently (since 2015) at the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering, Department of Metrology and Information Systems.
His research interests initially focused on high-temperature superconductivity, whereas the current interests concentrate on the application of graphene in electronic sensors. He authored and co-authored 27 scientific papers, including 17 in journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR) database.
