The hygroscopic secretion produced by the secretory setae of terrestrial larvae of the biting midge Forcipomyia nigra (Winnertz) was analysed using gas chromatography coupled with mass spectrometry (GC-MS). W pracy przedstawiono wyniki badań nad identyfikacją lotnych związków organicznych występujących w ściekach z instalacji oksydacji asfaltów. Ścieki poddano deemulgacji, w celu usunięcia fazy organicznej, a następnie ekstrakcji dichlorometanem, w celu wyizolowania pozostałych w ściekach związków organicznych.
