Biography
Marek Przyborski (b. March 20, 1964. Chełmża) - His fields of interest are remote sensing and close range photogrammetry. He conducts research on the use of so-called "high-speed cameras" to analyze the rapidly-changing phenomena. Co-author and author of publications dealing with the wide meaning of remote sensing applications related to the construction, transport, engineering, environment and homeland security. He is the author of numerous publications indexed by the prestigious Web of Science database.
In 1985-1990 he studied at the Faculty of Navigation and Naval Weapons Systems at the Polish Naval Academy, Ph.D. (AMW 1998), Ph.D. D.Sc. (AGH 2008), currently Associate Professor and Vice Dean for Cooperation and Innovation at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering. Since 2012 he is the Head of the Department of Geodesy. Marek Przyborski is an active member of several editorial boards of scientific and scientific-technical advice and scientific committees of international scientific conferences.
He was Chairman of the Scientific Committee of Poland's first congress Baltic Geodetic Congres, covered by the patronage of the prestigious Association of American Engineers IEEE.
