Biography
Graduate of Spatial Planning at the Faculty of Geographical and Geological Sciences of the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań (2003), where he subsequently defended his doctoral thesis on the subject of modelling suburbanization processes in Poznań metropolitan area (2007). In years 2009–2011 he was a fellow of Alexander von Humboldt Foundation at the University of Kaiserslautern Institute for Mobility & Transport. Since 2012 he has been an assistant professor at the Poznań University of Life Sciences. Since 2020 he has been an expert in urban policies at the Institute of Urban and Regional Development.
Professional work outside of research: member of the State Commission for Urban Planning and Architecture - GKUA (2014-2016 and since 2020), member of executive board of the Polish State Railways - PKP S.A. (2016-2017). Social activity: member of executive board of the Poznań Urban Cyclists' Association (1998-2013), member of district council Poznań-Jeżyce (1998-2002), member of executive board of the Mikuszewo Association (2003-2010), expert in mobility and urban planning at the Sobieski-Institute (since 2009).
