Data from wind tunnel tests of Aerosesne measurement system installed on NACA63418 at EPFL wind tunnel.

Wind tunnel experiments of fluid-structure interaction setup conducted in collaboration with Karen Mulleners head of the unsteady flow diagnostics laboratory at EPFL STI IGM UNFOLD MED 0 2426 (Batiment MED), Station 9, CH-1015 Lausanne. The setup is illustrated in Figure 6
The Aerosense node is installed on a 3D printed NACA63418 airfoil section with a 16 cm chord length. The airfoil is mounted in the middle of a 160 cm aluminium beam with one end clamped to a ground mounted frame, and the other end being free. The structural excitations are introduced via a heaving cyclic motion by an eccentric mass at the tip of the aluminium beam. The aerodynamic loading are introduced by the wind inflow on the airfoil section at the outlet of the wind tunnel. A transverse crack is introduced 10 cm from the clamped end of the beam. In addition to the Aerosense node measuring aerodynamic pressure on 40 MEMS pressure sensors, five PCB accelerometers were also installed along the span of the beam to collect vibration data.

228 datasets, each containing:
38 pressure time series sampled at 100 Hz
5 acceleration signals sampled at 2 kHz
Video recording
Streamwise motion capture (only for AoA = 8)
