Broadband EM simulations of quasi-randomly generated patch antenna topologies represented using coordinate points

Description

The dataset contains electromagnetic (EM) simulations of 10 000 quasi-randomly generated designs of patch antenna structures. The latter ones feature free-form radiators and fed through the concentric probe. The geometry parameters are defined in both cylindrical and Cartesian coordinate systems. Appropriate functions that enable visualization of the designs using MATLAB environment are also provided along with visualizations of example free-form antenna and a macro in Visual Basic that enables automatic generation of one antenna structure in CST Microwave Studio. Obtained responses are in the form of complex reflection characteristics. The frequency span is from 1 GHz to 10 GHz. The dataset was used to obtain antenna structures for the paper published in Journal of Computational Science (https://doi.org/10.1016/j.jocs.2024.102521).
