ECG measurement in the bathtub - drl on the outside of the bathtub on one side- men

Description

The measurement data shows the measurement of the ECG signal in water in the bathtub. The data includes the measurement time, the reference ECG signal from the chest, and the ECG signal measured by electrodes placed in the bathtub without contact with the human body. Using the presented data, it is possible to estimate the optimal arrangement of measuring electrodes, e.g. in the design of a measuring mat for a bathtub, depending on the expected nature and quality of the recorded data. The data shows a record of the heart's electrical activity at a specific electrode placement in or out of the bathtub. The data was recorded using the Analog Discovery 2 system and the WaveForm software.

Bath parameters:

  • tap water - conductivity before the inlet approx. 640us / cm
  • water temperature - 36 ° C
  • capacitance between the electrodes and the bath water - about 1-1.4 nF
  • capacity between the electrodes and the water with the person inside - about 1.4 - 2nF
  • water conductivity after bathing - about 660 us / cm
  • water temperature after bathing - 34 ° C
