Epitaph of Edward Blemke in St. Mary's Church in Gdańsk

Description

The data set concerns epigraphy. It refers to the epitaph placed in St. Mary’s Church in Gdańsk, that is dedicated to Edward Blemke, a citizen of Gdańsk who was in city council as a juror, almost till his death in 1593. The epitaph, made in 1591, is one of the greatest and the most beautiful in the whole basilica. Data set contains one general photo of the epitaph, transcription of its text in Latin, its translation in Polish, and the biography of the deceased, also in Polish.
