The data set concerns epigraphy. It refers to the epitaph placed in St. Mary’s Church in Gdańsk, that is dedicated to Gabriel Schumann, a noble citizen of Gdańsk, who was a juror and finally councilor of Gdańsk, and his son Gabriel, who was not only juror and councilor, but also a city treasurer. Data set contains one general photo of the epitaph, transcription of its text in Latin, its translation in Polish, and the biography of the deceased, also in Polish.
