Epitaph of George Hojer in St. Mary's Church in Gdańsk

Description

The data set concerns epigraphy. It refers to the epitaph placed in St. Mary’s Church in Gdańsk, that is dedicated to George Hojer, a citizen of Stralsund, who was travelling all over the Europe and unexpectedly died in Gdańsk in 1585 at the age of 25 during his way back home from Riga. Data set contains one general photo of the epitaph, transcription of its text in Latin, its translation in Polish, and the biography of the deceased, also in Polish.
