Description
Internal temperature of an electric cell can be measured and monitored using microsphere-based fiber-optic sensors with thin ALD ZnO coating. Their compact size will allow to integrate them easily and effectively within the electric cells. Utilization of presented sensors allows to detect, in real time, damages to the structure of the sensor head that may occur during measurement execution, which is especially important in when the sensor accessibility is impeded. The measuremnts were performed in the temperature range of 35-80 C
