Measurements of no-load and short-circuit parameters of power transformers with taps

Description

1)    The Laboratory LINTE^2 is a large research infrastructure operated by the Faculty of Electrical and Control Engineering at Gdańsk University of Technology, to be found in Gdańsk, Poland (54.3690 N, 18.6130 E).

2)    The measurements have been collected from five 3-phase low voltage power transformers that are installed in the research infrastructure of the laboratory. Nominal voltage ratio and power capacity of each power transformer are 400V/400V and 100 kVA, respectively.

3)    The tests of the transformers included no-load test and short-circuit test. Measurements allow to calculate technical parameters of the transformers.

4)    Raw measurements have been collected using a precision power analyzer ZES ZIMMER LMG671.

5)    The datasets (saved as individual *.csv files) are organized as follows:

Tap # – Tap number [-]

U1 – Primary-side voltage [V]

Io – No-load current [A]

Po – No-load active power [W]

Uz – Short-circuit voltage [V]

I1 – Primary-side current [A]

Pz – Short-circuit active power [W]
