Number of active debit cards issued to individual customers (2017)

Description

At the end of the fourth quarter of 2017, financial institutions (including non-banking ones, e.g. SKOK) serviced 25.8 million debit cards (excluding credit card data) of individual clients. This means an increase by 1.3 million cards compared to the same period in 2016. The largest number of cards was issued and serviced by Bank PKO BP - 6.81 million, the second was Bank Zachodni WBK - 3.32 million, and Bank Pekao SA came third. - 3.15 million units
