Research on the friction phenomena in sliding couples lubricated with water containing solid particles of mineral origin

The planned research includes an experimental part and theoretical. Specialized recently designed and built, already in laboratory, test stands for bearing tests water-lubricated slides. Research position allows you to study the steam wear process with precise registration at the same time motion resistance and temperature. The main purpose of the work is study and understand the nature of the wear process metal-polymer and metal-metal sliding joints. Down the progressive effect has not been investigated at present particulate degradation process and degradation particles to the wear process during their flow from lubricating fluid through the slip clutch. In of all known studies conducted in In the past, the lubricant circulated in the system closed or the tests were carried out in a tank containing impurities. Planned research will be carried out under the conditions of circulation of the medium lubricant, in which the solid particles undergo progressive degradation as well as under lubrication conditions one-time (or controlled number of) transitions lubricant - so that the impact of the process particle decomposition on the steam consumption process sliding.
