Application of spectroscopy to the measurement of blood parameters

Abstract

Spectroscopy is the study of formation and interpretation of the spectra arising from the interactions of all types of radiation on matter, understood as a collection of atoms and molecules. This is a very important department of optics which gives us many opportunities to measure various parameters such as material blood parameters. Among the diseases that are associated significantly with changes in rheological properties of blood (caused largely an aggregation of erythrocytes) appear to be: failure, coronary heart disease, myocardial infarction, embolism, ischemic limb, diabetes, anemia, cerebrovascular disease and retinal. Hence the need to control the level of red blood cells. The results demonstrate the possibility of hematology testing quickly and accurately is often non-invasively. Analysis of the results of tests carried out in the article is the basis for the use of this method in practical medical applications.
