  • Micellar aggregation of Triton X-100 surfactant in imidazolium ionic liquids

In this work we investigated aggregation behavior of a nonionic surfactant Triton X-100 in eighteen imidazolium ionic liquids (ILs) with two to eight carbon atoms in cations alkyl chain, namely 1-ethyl-3-methylimidazolium, [EMIM], 1-butyl-3-methylimidazolium, [PrMIM], 3-methyl-1-propylimidazolium, [BMIM], 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium, [PMIM], 3-methyl-1-pentyl-imidazolium, [HMIM], and 1-octyl-3-methylimidazolium, [OMIM], and with...

  • Medical Image Dataset Annotation Service (MIDAS)

    Publication

    - Year 2020

MIDAS (Medical Image Dataset Annotation Service) is a custom-tailored tool for creating and managing datasets either for deep learning, as well as machine learning or any form of statistical research. The aim of the project is to provide one-fit-all platform for creating medical image datasets that could easily blend in hospital's workflow. In our work, we focus on the importance of medical data anonimization, discussing the...

  • History-based dynamic weight voting for multi-agent systems

Taking decision in multi-agent systems may involve voting. Two basic voting protocols are surveyed in the paper. Then, a new history-based dynamic weight voting is proposed. This voting protocol allows for identification of the agents which contribute to the correct system decision. The proposed solution is contrasted with majority voting and with weighted average voting, to show its advantages

  • Geo-location of the commune of an IP user

    Publication

    - Year 2008

This paper describes a system of geo-location of an IP user that would enable VoIP users to call 112. Basic requirement is fast (under 50ms) determination of the commune of the subscriber. To obtain as accurate information as possible aggregation of several methods was proposed: using a database of locations of IP ranges created by specialized companies, traceroute using history of user locations to assume his current one.It is...
