Rozpatrzono warunki powstawania osiowosymetrycznego uskoku hydraulicznego. Przedstawiono model, w którym rozpatrzono obecność dodatkowych strat w równaniu Bernoulliego. Przyczyniają się one do powstawania dodatkowego wiru w miejscu uskoku. Porównanie z wynikami badań eksperymentalnych potwierdza słuszność przyjętych tez.
