Karol Grębowski (M.Sc.) works as an assistant at the Department of Technical Fundamentals of Architecture Design of the Faculty of Architecture at Gdansk University of Technology. His scientific research deals with dynamic phenomena occurring during the vibration of structures, bridges, and studies the design methodology of the elements forming passive protection system of the vehicles degraded  by struck or explosion in the context of terrorist attacks.

He completed the long-cycle Master's degree programme (2006-2011) at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Gdansk University of Technology. Thesis topic: "DYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF THE RAILWAY BRIDGE IN TCZEW IN CONNECTION WITH THE ADJUSTMENT TO HIGH SPEED TRAINS". Promoter: Prof. Krzysztof Wilde.

Doctoral student (2012-now) at the Faculty of Civil and Environmental Engineering at Gdansk University of Technology. Its promoter is the Faculty's Dean prof. dr. hab. inż Krzysztof Wilde. Under his supervision, he prepares a PhD thesis: "SOLUTIONS OF THE INTERMEDIATE SUPPORTS' STRUCTURES OF THE NORTHERN MARMARA HIGHWAY (ISTANBUL'S RING ROAD) IN THE CONTEXT OF SEISMIC ACTIONS". 
 
The author of many publications in Polish and foreign magazines, among others: International Journal of Applied Mechanics and Engineering, Procedia Engineering, Building Review, Engineering and Construction, Material Science and Engineering, Advances in Mechanics: Theoretical, Computational and Interdisciplinary Issues (Web of Science), IOP Conference Series: Materials and Engineering (Web of Science), IOP Conference Series: Earth and Environmental Science (Web of Science).

A participant of numerous scientific conferences in Poland and abroad, among others: International Bridge Conference Rudolf Modrzejewski "BRIDGES - TRADITION AND MODERNITY", XIII Scientific and Technical Conference - TKI (Computer Techniques in Engineering), LSCE - Lightweight Structures in Civil Engineering, 3rd Polish Congress of Mechanics (PCM) and 21st International Conference on Computer Methods in Mechanics (CMM), World Multidisciplinary Civil Engineering - Architecture - Urban Planning Symposium - WMCAUS 2017.

The author of technical and construction expertises. The author about 30 articles.
Since 2012, he obtained building qualifications in  construction and civil engineering specialty without restrictions. 
Founder and one of the supervisors of the BOSS students association (the Beauty Of StructureS) at the Faculty of Architecture at Gdansk University of Technology.
