Description
This dataset contains the results of chromium and nutrients (N and PO4-P) removal in floating treatment wetland microcosm experiment with two cosmopolitan species of parennials: Phragmites australis and Iris pseudacorus.
Physiochemical parameters (including Ntot, PO4-P, pH, temp., conductivity, O2, redox potential, chlorophyll content index) in liquid samples, plants development indices (height, weight, no. of leaves), Cr concentration in liquid and plant biomass material are presented.
Nutrients (total nitrogen and othophosphates) in liquid samples were determined using cuvette tests (Hach Lange) in accordance with Polish Standards that are compatible with EU and US-EPA standards. ICP-OES was used to determine the Cr content of liquid samples (Agilent 5800 VDV, Agilent Technologies, Australia). The ICP-OES method and an Agilent 5800 VDV spectrometer were used to determine the Cr content of plant material.
