An integrated framework towards the improvement of air quality in urban areas within the capacity of existing local and regional spatial planning and environmental management tools
The project will be conducted during a scientific training at the Department of Urban Planning and Design, Faculty of Architecture, the University of Hong Kong. The proposed project is aimed at exploring the prospects of integrating the current knowledge about the impact of urban configuration on air quality with the practice of spatial planning and environmental management. The research will be referenced to urban planning systems in chosen European and Asian countries.
