Abstract
This paper presents the role of perfusion computed tomography (pCT) in the diagnosis of diabetic pulmonary microangiopathy. Our previous works have shown that perfusion parameters are useful in the diagnosis of diabetic pulmonary microangiopathy. In this article we focus on conditions that are necessary for such the diagnosis and introduce method of classification no microangiopathy vs. microangiopathy based on logistic regression. The presented method in certain regions of interest gives very good results in diagnosing lung microangiopathy: Sens = 89% and excellent Spec = 100 %.
